The two teams of the Presidents Cup 2019 have their leaders! The disc golf community rallied for Nate Sexton, who was chosen as the captain for Team USA, and Janne Hirsimäki, who in turn will captain the Team Europe.
Nate Sexton was a clear fan favorite with 1603 votes and Janne Hirsimäki gathered 821 votes, which was the second highest amount of votes out of all six candidates. Both captains were well supported and can assume their positions comfortably.
Congratulations to both Presidents Cup 2019 captains! And thank you to the other four candidates: Avery Jenkins, Paul Ulibarri, Natalie Holloköi and Kari Vesala!
Next week we continue the Presidents Cup 2019 qualifying with another fan vote. Disc golf fans around the World get to vote for their favorite players that will boast the ranks of their teams.
